For integrating RJ11 into F/UTP, SF/UTP and U/UTP cabling systems with RJ45 interfaces.

Particularly telephones in older installations still require a grounding control key. A third wire is thus needed at the RJ11 jack. This wire is not always assigned to the same pin in the RJ11 jack in different telephone systems. On the R&M distributor 1x RJ45-4x RJ11 it can be assigned to pin 1 or pin 4 of the RJ11 jack by help of a jumper. At entry side the tertiary cables shield is the ground connection. It is linked to the RJ45 jacks shield or connected via terminal clip (distributors 1x RJ45/4x RJ11 only).
